Teamwork & Coordination
Through our fortnightly ensemble rehearsals, we aim to help our young musicians build ensemble skills, organisational skills and performance discipline.
Our ensemble musicians perform twice annually – once in our winter mini recital dedicated especially for them to show off their efforts, and once in our school annual concert.
The CMA Senior Wind Ensemble is led by our Head Flute Teacher, Ms Victoria Parsons. Ms Parsons holds a Bachelor of Music degree (Australian Institute of Music) and a Bachelor of Arts degree (Sydney Conservatorium of Music). She is currently pursuing her PhD in Musicology and Ethnomusicology (Sydney Conservatorium of Music).
The CMA Senior Wind Ensemble is open to flute and clarinet students. While a minimum of Grade 3 (AMEB or equivalent) is required, we are open to auditions. Visit our contact page to arrange an appointment for audition.
