Cancellation of a lesson must be made AT LEAST 48-hours prior to the scheduled lesson time in order to receive a make-up lesson (for definition of a make-up lesson, please see below). This includes leaving messages on our mobile number or email.
For cancellations made less than 48-hours, the lesson may be credited if any of the following is provided:
– Covid-positive RAT result
– Covid-positive text notice from NSW Health
– Doctor’s certificate/letter
– Pharmacy receipt dated the day of absence with relevant medicine(s)
No shows are considered a forfeited lesson.
If you know of dates ahead of time where you/your child cannot make a lesson, please notify the school as early as possible.
Late for lesson: most lessons at CMA are scheduled back-to-back, and lessons will end as scheduled so that the next student can have their lesson on time. In the unlikely event that your teacher is late, your teacher will give additional time past the time slot to compensate for it.
There are NO refunds on unused or cancelled lessons.
MAKE UP LESSONS:
Any lessons cancelled at least 48-hours ahead of the scheduled lesson will receive a make-up lesson at a time convenient to both the teacher and the student.
Typically, make-up lessons take place during the school holidays, or at an alternate time/day within the week if possible. In some cases, the make-up lesson will be in the form of added time after/before the original lesson time, enabling the student to have a longer lesson.
A make-up lesson can be booked with your teacher directly or the school administration.
ART CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY:
All art class absences due to personal affairs (birthday parties, extra-curricular school events, camps, family vacation/outings, etc.) will not be credited.
Absences due to medical-related issues may be credited if any of the following is provided:
– Covid-positive RAT result
– Covid-positive text notice from NSW Health
– Doctor’s certificate/letter
– Pharmacy receipt dated the day of absence
In the unlikely event that your teacher is absent, the class will be credited.
